Meet The Optometric Team Near You


Dr. Kegarise is the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Center for Professional Development, LLC; a management consulting firm that assists doctors in clinical and managerial practices. He is the President of Cool Springs Eye Care and Donelson Eye Care, which has served the Middle Tennessee region for over 25 years. He earned his doctorate of optometry at The Ohio State University and followed that with a Residency in Family Practice Optometry at The University of Alabama in Birmingham.
His early career was focused on eye disease by leading optometric referral centers with Omega Health Systems in Birmingham, AL and Nashville, TN. During that time his practices were recognized by The State of Tennessee with TN Quality Awards for business.
He began his consulting career when he was recognized by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, (IHI), Boston, MA, as one of three international experts and innovators in healthcare design and leadership. He served as one of the founding members of IHI’s Idealized Design in Healthcare Project IDCOP, which created a model for ambulatory care medicine to follow in pursuit of “Ideal” care. He consulted with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) to help improve methods for coordination and transition of care. He maintains faculty status with The Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and affiliation with Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, as adjunct in the Dartmouth Institute Microsystem Academy.
Dr. Kegarise is a passionate basketball player and coach (mostly all coaching now!), and prides himself on trying to be a better father and husband than any of his business accomplishments. He bleeds Scarlet and Gray, attends as many Buckeye football games as possible and enjoys travel with his wife.

Dr. Kelly graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, with honors and a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University. He is a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) and College of Optometrist in Vision Development (COVD) and has extensive training in primary eye care, eye disease, pediatric eye care, vision therapy, and contact lenses.

Dr. Aimee Jacobs directs our primary care, contact lens, and myopia control clinics. She graduated from the University of Missouri, St. Louis College of Optometry and has a BS in Chemistry from Lindenwood University. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Tennessee Optometric Association.

Dr. Mark Kroll is a Board-certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, premium lenses, refractive surgery, Istent placement for glaucoma, and LASIK surgery. He is a graduate of Loma Linda University. His goal is to provide quality, compassionate and comprehensive medical care, as well as to offer safe and effective surgical treatment.
He was previously in practice at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he specialized in Advanced cataract surgery. While never leaving Nashville, he took over a large surgical specialty eye care practice in Bowling Green, KY.
He has now returned to Nashville to be the surgical and laser specialist at our Cool Springs and Donelson Eye Care practices. Mark and his wife, have three children.

Dr. Camille Barberic is a Board Certified Optometrist who has been serving patients in the Middle Tennessee area since 2013. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in May 2013.
Dr. Barberic has an extensive back ground in ophthalmology co-management. Skilled at handling peri-operative refractive cataract, laser vision correction and anterior segment cases. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Lions Club International, and Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians
Dr. Barberic resides in Franklin TN with her husband and two young children.

Dr. Robin Brady grew up in Michigan and attended Central Michigan University. He then moved to Tennessee and graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1995. Afterwards, he completed a year long Residency in Ocular Disease at Omega Health Systems in Jackson Tennessee.
He started his career with Omega Health Systems in Nashville Tennessee under the leadership of Dr. Jeffrey Kegarise. From there, he spent 20 years in Chattanooga Tennessee helping to lead an optometric referral center, specializing in ocular disease management.
Dr. Brady lives in near-by College Grove with his wife and youngest son. He also has an older son and two grandchildren he loves spending time with. In his spare time you may find him on the golf course or at a movie.
