Dr. Jeffrey Kegarise

Dr. Jeffrey Kegarise

Dr. Kegarise serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Center for Professional Development, LLC, a management consulting firm assisting doctors in clinical and managerial practices. 

His leadership extends to the position of President at Cool Springs Eye Care and Donelson Eye Care, contributing over 25 years of service to the Middle Tennessee region. He earned his doctorate of optometry from Ohio State University and completed a Residency in Family Practice Optometry at The University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Early in his career, Dr. Kegarise focused on eye disease, leading optometric referral centers in Birmingham, AL, and Nashville, TN. His dedication was acknowledged with TN Quality Awards for business by The State of Tennessee. 

Transitioning to consulting, he gained recognition from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Boston, MA, as one of three international experts and innovators in healthcare design and leadership. He played a crucial role as a founding member of IHI’s Idealized Design in Healthcare Project IDCOP, contributing to a model for ambulatory care medicine.

Dr. Kegarise also engaged in consulting with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) to enhance coordination and transition of care methods. He maintains faculty status with The Institute for Healthcare Improvement and holds an affiliation with Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, as an adjunct in the Dartmouth Institute Microsystem Academy.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kegarise is a passionate basketball coach and player, emphasizing his commitment to being a better father and husband than any business accomplishments. He bleeds Scarlet and Gray, avidly attending as many Buckeye football games as possible, and enjoys travel with his wife.

Dr. Daniel Kelly

Dr. Daniel Kelly

Dr. Kelly completed his education with honors at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. 

He is also an esteemed member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). 

Dr. Kelly possesses comprehensive training in various aspects of optometry, including primary eye care, eye disease, pediatric eye care, vision therapy, and contact lenses. 

His dedication to ongoing education and professional affiliations underscores his commitment to providing high-quality eye care services.

Dr. Aimee Jacobs

Dr. Aimee Jacobs

Overseeing our primary care, contact lens, and myopia control clinics is Dr. Aimee Jacobs. 

She is a graduate of the University of Missouri, St. Louis College of Optometry, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Lindenwood University. 

Jacobs is also an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Optometric Association. Her educational background and professional affiliations reflect her dedication to delivering comprehensive and expert eye care services.

Dr. Mark Kroll, MD

Dr. Mark Kroll, MD

Board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Mark Kroll, is a distinguished specialist focusing on cataract surgery, premium lenses, refractive surgery, Istent placement for glaucoma, and LASIK surgery. 

A graduate of Loma Linda University, he is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive medical care, along with safe and effective surgical treatments. 

Dr. Kroll previously practiced at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he honed his expertise in advanced cataract surgery. While remaining rooted in Nashville, he assumed leadership of a prominent surgical specialty eye care practice in Bowling Green, KY. 

He has since returned to Nashville, serving as the surgical and laser specialist at both Cool Springs and Donelson Eye Care practices. Alongside his professional pursuits, he and his wife are proud parents to three children.

Dr. Camille Barberic

Dr. Camille Barberic

Dr. Camille Barberic has been dedicated to serving patients in the Middle Tennessee area since 2013. 

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN, and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in May 2013. 

With a focus on ophthalmology co-management, Dr. Barberic possesses extensive expertise in pre-operative refractive cataract, laser vision correction, and anterior segment cases. 

Additionally, she’s an active member of the American Optometric Association, Lions Club International, and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians. 

Residing in Franklin, Dr. Barberic, along with her husband and two young children, is deeply rooted in the local community.

Dr. Robin Brady

Dr. Robin Brady

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Robin Brady is a seasoned optometrist with a rich background in eye care. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Central Michigan University before making his way to Tennessee, where he graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1995. 

Following his education, Dr. Brady furthered his expertise by completing a year-long Residency in Ocular Disease at Omega Health Systems in Jackson, Tennessee. Dr. Brady began his professional journey with Omega Health Systems in Nashville, working under the guidance of Dr. Jeffrey Kegarise. 

With a career spanning two decades in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he played a key role in leading an optometric referral center, specializing in the management of ocular diseases.

Currently residing in College Grove, near Nashville, with his wife and youngest son, Dr. Brady is actively engaged in family life. Beyond his professional commitments, he enjoys spending quality time with his older son and two grandchildren. In his leisure moments, you might find Dr. Brady on the golf course or enjoying a movie, showcasing his diverse interests and passions.
